Please be advised that all RI dealers who received commercial striped bass tags in 2019, general category and/or fish trap, must return all unused tags and tag reports to DEM no later than January 1st, 2020. Failure to return all unused tags and tag reports may result in the dealer becoming ineligible to receive tags in 2020, pursuant to Rhode Island Marine Fisheries Regulations, Part 3 – Finfish (section 3.9.2(E). The 2019 RI commercial striped bass tags may be returned in person or by mail to one of the following DEM offices:

Division of Coastal Resources
301 Great Island Road
Narragansett, RI 02882
Tagging reports may be submitted directly at Marine Fisheries or Coastal Resources, or via email, mail, or fax (f: 401-423-1925). Anyone with questions should contact Natalie Ameral at 401-423-1923 or Natalie.ameral@dem.ri.gov
