NOTICE
Modification to possession limits and/or seasons for marine species regulated under quota
- Beginning 12:00AM on Friday, April 3rd, 2020, the commercial possession limit for Summer flounder Aggregate Landing Program will be seven thousand five hundred (7,500) pounds per vessel per the month of April 2020, until the program ends on April 30, 2020.
The Aggregate Landing Program will terminate when ninety percent (90%) of the winter sub-period has been harvested and the possession limit shall be one hundred (100) pounds per vessel per calendar day. For vessels not permitted in the Aggregate Landing Program the possession limit will be one hundred (100) pounds per vessel per calendar day.
As of 12:00AM, April 3, 2020, all vessels permitted to participate in the Summer Flounder Aggregate Program will start at zero percent (0%) of their aggregate limit of seven thousand five hundred (7,500) pounds per vessel per the month of April 2020.
Possession limits are subject to modification throughout the year; it is the responsibility of the licensed fisherman to comply with possession limits and all such modifications.
