Consolidated Appropriations Act — Fisheries Assistance Program (CAAFAP)
Informational Meeting – June 16, 2021, 5:00 PM
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is holding a virtual meeting on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at 5:00 PM regarding the Consolidated Appropriations Act – Fisheries Assistance Program. The funding from this program will support activities previously authorized under Sec. 12005 of the CARES Act. It will be allocated to states and territories with coastal and marine fishery participants who have been negatively affected by COVID-19.
The intent of this meeting is to review the proposed spend plan, which includes information on sector allocations and impact periods. The complete .draft spend plan will be provided via listserv in a subsequent email prior to the meeting
The meeting will be held virtually using Zoom. Access to the meeting can be done by clicking the Zoom meeting link below at the start of the meeting or calling into the meeting using the below number and passcode. For those unable to attend, the meeting will be recorded and available on the RIDEM Division of Marine Fisheries’ website thereafter for viewing.
