Rhode Island Fishing Industry Meeting on BOEM’s Draft Mitigation Guidance for Offshore Wind – July 21st at 5 PM
The Coastal Resources Management Council and the RIDEM Division of Marine Fisheries will be having a meeting on July 21st at 5 PM via Zoom to discuss the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) Draft Mitigation Guidance for Avoiding Impacts of Offshore Wind Energy on Fisheries. This meeting will be held via Zoom and will be open to the public. BOEM will be presenting on the draft guidance and time will allow for questions and comments from the fishing industry. While the meeting will be open to the public, the discussion is intended primarily for commercial and recreational fishermen.
