MEETING NOTICE – REGULATORY WORKSHOP
Please be advised the DEM Division of Marine Fisheries will be holding a regulatory workshop on Thursday, October 3, 2024, 4:30pm to solicit input regarding prospective and/or proposed amendments to the marine fisheries regulations.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide the public with regulatory proposals currently under consideration and/or up for annual review by the Division, and to afford opportunity for feedback and/or additional proposals.

Please send proposals to John Lake @ john.lake@dem.ri.gov no later than October 2nd if you would like your proposal included in the workshop slide presentation. Staff will make every effort to include your proposal. Staff are available to assist you with discussing prospective proposals.
A public hearing on proposed rules is scheduled for November 4th, followed by a RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting on December 2nd.
