2024 Commercial Tautog Tag Reports and Unused Tags
Please be reminded that RI commercial fishermen who received commercial tautog tags in 2024 must return all unused tags and tag reports to DEM no later than February 15, 2025. Failure to return all unused tags and tag reports may result in the fisherman becoming ineligible to receive tags in 2024, pursuant to regulations (Part 3 – Finfish, section 3.13.2(C)). Unused 2024 RI commercial tautog tags and reports for 2024 tags may be returned by mail, or dropped off during business hours 8:30-4 Monday-Friday, to one of the following DEM offices:

Very Important! You must include your name and license number with your unused tags and reports! Please note, any reports or tags that do not identify the license holders name and license number will not be accepted. Failure to include the name and license number may result in an ineligibility to receive tags in the future. Tagging reports may be submitted via email (Nichole.ares@dem.ri.gov), mail, or fax (f: 401-423-1925).
