Please be advised that the harvest season in Greenwich Bay and Bissel Cove/Fox Island Shellfish Management Areas per the amended schedules as provided below does not supersede any conditional water quality/rainfall closures identified by DEM’s Office of Water Resources (OWR). For water quality closures in conditional areas call the 24-hour shellfish hotline at 222-2900 , or sign up to receive email notifications by sending an email to RishellfishOWR-subscribe@listserve.ri.gov. Please also refer to the Interactive Shellfish Map for information regarding areas open for shellfish harvest.
