Attention Rhode Island Lobster Fishery Participants
The RIDEM Division of Marine Fisheries is holding an informational meeting on Monday November 8th, 2021 at 5:00pm to continue to inform the Rhode Island Lobster industry on a relief package available from NOAA Fisheries to provide assistance to those participants affected by the Final Rule to Amend the Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan. The Department will be presenting the status on NOAA’s spend plan and is seeking additional industry input on the plan for the relief package.
This meeting will be both in-person and virtual (zoom).
