2021 Commercial Tautog Tag Reports and Unused Tags
Please be advised that all RI commercial fishermen who received commercial tautog tags in 2021 must return all unused tags and tag reports to DEM no later than February 15, 2021. Failure to return all unused tags and tag reports may result in the fishermen becoming ineligible to receive tags in 2022, pursuant to Rhode Island Marine Fisheries Regulations, Part 3 – Finfish (section 3.11.2(C)).
Unused 2021 RI commercial tautog tags and reports for 2021 tags may be returned by mail, or dropped off during business hours 8:30-4 Monday-Friday, to one of the following DEM offices:

Please note, any reports and/or tags without a name or license number attached will not be accepted. Failure to include name or license number may result in an inability to receive tags in the future.
Tagging reports may be submitted via email (Nichole.ares@dem.ri.gov), mail, or fax (f: 401-423-1925). Additional reporting forms can be found on the Division website at: http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/marine/pdf/tautogrpt.pdf
