PUBLIC NOTICE
PROPOSED REGULATION AMENDMENTS
Please be advised that the Division of Marine Fisheries has publicly noticed the following regulation(s) to consider proposed amendments:
- Part 2 – Commercial Marine Fishing Licenses, Landing Permits, and Party and Charter Licenses: (250-RICR-90-00-2):
- Exit:entry ratio for the issuance of the Unlimited Finfish endorsement
- Exit:entry ratio for the issuance of the Unlimited Shellfish endorsement
- Proposed rules for the issuance of the new Multipurpose Vessel License (MVL)
- Other minor non-substantive changes
- Exit:entry ratio for the issuance of the Unlimited Finfish endorsement

A public hearing will be held Monday, September 12, 2022, 6:00pm, both in-person and virtually.

The public comment period ends 4:00pm on September 22, 2022, 4:00PM. A RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting will follow on October 3, 2022 (meeting notice and agenda to be provided in subsequent listserve)
