Please be advised the DEM Division of Marine Fisheries will be holding a regulatory workshop on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, 4:30pm to solicit input regarding prospective amendments to the marine fisheries regulations.

· Exit:entry ratio for Unlimited Finfish endorsement
· Exit:entry ratio for Unlimited Shellfish endorsement
· Commercial green crab license
· Electronic negative reporting due dates
· Reporting requirements with issuance of a new license upon sale of a vessel or gear
· Prioritization categories for the issuance of new licenses – revised licensing structure
· Clarification of restricted finfish species
· Jonah crab claw possession allowance (harvesters and dealers)
· Horseshoe crab closure at new and full moons
· Biomedical horseshoe crab harvest in coastal salt ponds
· Lobster trap tag transfer application period (state vessels)
· Escape vent requirements for pots and traps other than lobster pots
· Catch accounting clarification (revisit from last regulatory cycle)
