[Rimarinefisheries] Modification to possession limits/seasons for marine species regulated under quota

Modification to possession limits and/or seasons for marine species regulated under quota

 

1. Beginning 12:00AM on Sunday, September 1, 2019, the commercial possession limit for Summer flounder will be two hundred (200) pounds per vessel per day, until the next sub-period begins on September 16, 2019, at one hundred (100) pounds per vessel per day.

 

Possession limits are subject to modification throughout the year; it is the responsibility of the licensed fisherman to comply with possession limits and all such modifications.  Current commercial possession limits can be found by calling (401) 423-1920, or visiting the Marine Fisheries webpage at http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/fish-wildlife/marine-fisheries/mfsizes.php.
